Spatial Intelligence for Cities and Society

The Urban x AI Lab develops spatially grounded AI, data science, and optimization methods for understanding cities and improving services for society. We integrate spatial big data, GeoAI, multimodal geospatial intelligence, transportation and network intelligence, and scalable spatial optimization to address complex challenges in mobility, health, the environment, resilience, logistics, public services, and urban development. The lab bridges fundamental research and real-world impact through interdisciplinary collaboration, industry and government partnerships, and student-centered training in the AI era.
